North Lauderdale Police K9 "Ralph" was killed in the line of duty on June 23rd, 1997 after a burglary suspect fled into a canal and held the dog under water.  Due to Ralph's fearless pursuit, the subject was arrested.  This photo is of Ralph in 1996.
